US Presidents Play Touhou Project is a series on YouTube where fictional versions of the United States presidents play the official Touhou Project games. As of November 2025, it has four episodes
History
The series was originally proposed as "US Presidents Play Imperishable Night", since there was a lack of AI presidents videos on that series at the time. It was postponed due to a lack of free voice cloning tools.
In August 2025, the idea was brought back up again as the creator found free voice cloning tools, which were Vocloner and Uberduck. Later, the presidents series began to be produced, with original plans for only doing the politicians from New York City. The first episode was uploaded in August 2025, with voices cloned using Uberduck, and the second episode was released in September, with both episodes initially being on the "Presidents and NYC Politicians Play" (later AI District of Columbia Gaming).
The creator decided that the series would move onto the main channel, and include more politicians. The channel was renamed to AI District of Columbia Gaming. The first episode including more politicians was released on October 24, 2025.
In November 2025, due to frequent issues at Uberduck, the primary voice cloning tool used in the videos was switched to Vocloner.
